Today i created a poll fight in the catfight polls section
In half an hour or a bit...more the result changed dramatically as one member casted votes by multiple accounts.
This member using different accounts joined to my club (the moderator Boche is member too) and she posted with the same ip address.
She created a whole CHAOS during my polls to my group too
Despite i am using the sparklit web polls - very secured as blocking the voting , this member sent the voting link to his/her friends and trying to ruin the poll
Possibly to used another computer so the system doesnt recognise the ip address of the voter !
This member today , because i watch very carefully a poll of mine...as he/she log out the result of my poll fight to change and to ruin it.
Offcourse i locked the poll and my effort was a waste of time.Also people members here or to my group were very sad about all of those bad facts.
I will clean my group , but i post this for your site ,so please DELETE ALL MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS that BELONG TO SAME PEOPLE (except if one is his wife or her husband and share the same computer)

Offcourse he/she should have at least another 20 accounts here (thats why i saw 10-12 i dont remember excactly the no of votes in a row...just in half or maybe a bit more )

Does this mean that those catfight polls might actually be an unscientific, random sampling after all?
I always thought you could rely on those results as being a genuine cross-section of the catfight community. Now I find the results may be skewed.

ya know i dont think the pics are so bad if you know the person is playing that role,but to pull this is like having mutiple personalities and not realizing it.your rite.i think you have to be honest to a pretty certain degree to establish a freindship to role play.

First off Reggie, you don't need to feel afraid to post in any thread with 'god members' All that means is they posted in the forum a lot. So someone could have posted "OH YEAH THAT"S A SEXY ASS!!!" in a thousand threads and become a god member. Doesn't mean they have any more right to speak than you do. What is Fascist is yelling and screaming at a member to shut up because they disagree with you.
My question is, do polls here show the person who started it how members have voted? Does it tell me on a poll I start that Jim voted for option A and Jane voted for option B etc..? if you can't see who voted for who on this site...what are these accusations based on? If you are running polls featuring people you know have multiple IDs on your own site, then what are you expecting? Them not to do it here?
If the polls don't involve any IDs you think have multiple IDS, then what makes you think they are doing this? Dramatic poll swings happen in the real world all the time. Simple example: Bob "I hate old people" is in the lead in the mayor vote. Then the seniors home bus shows up at the polling station. Now he is behind. IS that cheating? Happened in a short frame, just like you are saying.
On here its a simple reason without 'cheating'. Person A told their friends they were in a poll and asked them to vote. If you call that cheating, then give your head a shake. People don't vote base don ability in polls they vote on "OH YEAH THAT"S A SEXY ASS!!!!" So give that guy grief for spoiling the Olympic level purity of your polls. If you can't see how members vote on your polls HERE, then all you are doing is declaring something is 'cheating' if they aren't going the way you want or expect them to.
Maybe we need a new poll. What is more pathetic? Using multiple accounts to win a poll or being upset that polls aren't up to the same standards as a general election? If this is all you have to worry about in the world, then you are truly fortunate.
In poll fights, a lot of people will vote based on looks rather than actual likely fighting abilities, as much as can be gleaned from several pictures. It's on a par with with lining up pictures of two sporting teams and trying to decide who would win a match based on what both teams look like.
Let it be a little harmless fun for those who want it and also accept that there are some people who are so desperate to 'win', they will try and skew the result. There's no need for all this hysteria and name calling, to my mind.
Save your ire for something that really matters.
It doesn't seem to be that much of an issue, really. The polls, for those who love them, seem to be entertaining. I think mostly those who participate just like the trash talking during the polls. The results are meaningless, swinging from popularity contests to "this pin up queen or porn star picture can beat the other pin up queen or porn star picture " . BUT they do have a following.
And to be fair, there are many who live by the polls and don't understand the allure of cyber-fighting. Apples and oranges. But whereas a well done cyberfight can show skill & creativity, the ability to express one's sensuality and the opportunity to engage/ entertain an audience, a poll is just a poll. Which will win? It doesn't require anything from those who are the objects of the poll. Aside from being able to find a suitably attractive photo on the web.
I can understand being a bit miffed if the ballot box gets stuffed, but -move on to the next one. If winning a poll is so important to someone, then let them sort out their priorities, and you just go create the next poll. Dude, your polls seem to be popular. Just do another one.

I can't add much more than already has been said other than I am having trouble understanding how much hard work does it take to set up a poll. I mean its not like there are 2 people actually doing a cyberfight or anything. Anyone can set up a poll about anything they want. Like asking people what there favortie pizza toppings are. But a cyberfight with 2 people that really want to win and make it believable without "supering" is hard to do especially in front of other people watching. And I too agree that there is too many other real world things to be worried about. I also agree that it is pathetic for people to log in with different ID's to vote. But there isnt anything that you can do about it so you can either continue to create the polls knowing that people using multiple ID will vote and accept it or stop all together.

I agree 100 % with it.It was my mistake creating the last poll.I thought that this time ...maybe a fair poll fight.I use sparklit web polls - more secured but
the ownher John doesnt accept because of spywares.I respect it and i tried to create some poll fights for fun (thrash talking,messages,etc...) ip addresses can be the same we live in a rural area and have satellite broadband services the WiFi Hub for rural area broadband witch is like a big more powerfull home router thats outside and covers all 3 homes and links us to the up link giving us all on the farm the same ip address so if all of us that lives hear was on the link at the same time ther woud be 6 of us on the same ip. I know thers me and my sis on fcf and a girl that works with us and lives in was going to give it a go so thats 3 so please dont take a lot of notice of ip address some of us have a good reasons and are not trying to pull a fast one. steph ps just had a look to see where the ip address we use is on the map its adout 30or40 miles away from where it realy is ???
