I personally don't like Remakes or Sequals but would be open to it if they Remade this Movie & was wondering how many out there familiar with this movie would like to see it get Remade & if so , I was just curious that if you had your say , would there be Changes you would like to see in the Remake , like for me , in the Title Match it is a 2 of 3 Falls Match that sees the Dolls win the 1st Fall but sees the Tigers win Fall 2 by Demolishing Both Dolls , also besides any changes you might want to see , who would you choose to play the Dolls

They refers to whatever Producer or Director might be open to the Idea of remaking the film , hasn't King Kong been made about 400 times :)
Thought of 2 possible Teams to be the New California Dolls
(1) Carmen Electra & Kim Kardashian
(2) Bobbi Billard ( Summer ) & Tammy Sheffield ( Sandy ) - Beach Patrol from WOW
Truly a classic for female fight fans, but All the Marbles was a box office flop. Not even the star power of Peter Falk, who was a big draw at the time, could help. Even Playboy panned the film. Not a good "date" movie. I may be one of the few people who saw it at the theater (very glad I did)
Since we're all just wishing here, I like the Carmen Electra/Kim Kardashian idea for the new "Dolls". They had a short but sexy wrestling scene in "Disaster Movie". Plus Carmen has hosted the NWWL (Naked Women's Wrestling League) as their Commissioner.
Simple plot, they're both working at Hooters and know they need to make some real money before they lose their looks. A wrestling promoter (he's "down on his luck" of course, every wrestling promoter in the movies has to be down on his luck). The girls get into a fight when the dishwashing machine goes haywire and floods Hooters with soap suds, each one blames the other, so they fight it out in a wet, soapy mess.
The fact they both get fired and tossed out on their sweet round asses just makes the wrestling promoter's pitch that much easier.
The girls escapade includes underground fights in Mexico, and of course all those mansions in LA where millionaires pay to see no rules catfights. They make a name for themselves by beating two former WWE Champions at a charity event in Miami, which gets them a PPV title shot in Vegas when the #1 contenders are booted for juicing.
In the PPV they're match against the Olsen Twins playing themselves...scratch that, bad girls Jamie Priestly and Meagan Fox. The promoter is forced to pull the plug on the broadcast when all four women wind up butt naked, but those in attendance will never forget that night.
That is actually not a bad idea for a movie. I would even pick that up at redbox when it came out. :-)
Speaking of girlfights at mansions, I was skipping thru the channels yesterday and came across "bareknuckles" which was a movie about an underground female fight tournament. It was a B movie and did not do much for me but I thought I would throw it out there.

I was looking forward to that movie, but it's not "bareknuckle" as the girls all wear MMA type gloves, and a 90 minute film with about 12 minutes of fight scenes, and only one of those a complete fight. But Spice Williams still looks great.
I wrote a full review but someone here was tying to sell the DVD so I didn't feel the need to pee in their corn flakes.
A recent poll went ptting Kim Kardashian vs Heidi Montag & based on the Pics posted , I couldn't help but think they would make a nice looking California Dolls Tag Team

I saw All the Marbles in the theater also, I recently got it on DVD from Amazon.com. I'd love to see a remake of this movie as long as they did it well. I Don't know who I'd like to see playing the Dolls though. Maybe Megan Fox and Scarlet Johanson since we are only wishing here ;)

I saw it in the theater also when I was a Kid & I remember going nuts " Yelling at Ref when he let the Tigers get away with murder & me Dad had to keep telling me to " Calm down " & here I am now , being a Heel fan who would find myself saying now " Oh Poor Dolls , Too Bad :'( " :)

No please, don't let Lucas behind a camera ever again, he f*cked up the Star Wars prequels pretty bad :p And if he DID direct it he'd go back every 3 years and re-edit the damn thing, add CGI mud or whaetver..

I watched that a long time ago but that must have been a start to me wanting to see onesided fights where the hot girl loses and gets dominaited. It was i think the mudwrestling scene where they were embarrassed and domianted. does anyone remember that.

It was just a short scene & as much fun as Mud Wrestling is to watch , I personaly if they did a remake would rather see an extra ,match between the Dolls & Tigers , this time Iris picks up where she left off last time as the Tigers just Massacre her again as Molly can only urge her on until the Tigers go for the pin , prompting Molly to save Iris like Iris saved her in the last match & Molly then drags Iris to the corner , tags herself in to try to turn the tide , but like Iris got after saving Molly & tagging herself in , Molly is instantly on the recieving end & is just a sexy blonde plaything until she is pinned & since they have been Demolished 2 matches in a row by the Tigers , that makes the Promoter want to use a different Team to face the Tigers at the PPV & that is what makes Iris " Slut " herself out to get the match
I hate remakes so much, I still watch the original Titanic version from the 1930s. When I was a youngster I saw the California Dolls in the cinema, and then again a few days later, it was like a drug. I never thought the film needs a remake, unless it's gone missing.
I agree we need another female wrestling movie.
