I would rather fight a taller opponent, than a short one. I find the short ones are really tough, but that is my opinion...
What is yours???
I have always found shorter opponents to be more difficult to fight with. For one...being taller, when I reach out to grab them, I usually grab air...lol....they were never where I thought they should be... On the other hand, depending on how short they really are, they may have difficulty applying an effective scissors hold because of having short legs. I had a steady lady opponent a few years back that was only 5'0 but could she scrap! I was usually wore out by the time we got to a final submission.....she was fiesty and just kept on coming at me...it was fun!
I realize that both of you are referring to mixed fighting/wrestling, which I do not care for, but from a female vs female perspective, a taller and lighter vs a shorter and heavier matchup can be very exciting and intriguing either from the standpoint of watching or participation. Each woman has a different advantage over the other, and therefore each one must use an entirely different strategy to win. I have fought both, and I find that a shorter, heavier opponent gives me more problems than a taller lighter one
No I meant the question to anyone who really really fights irl. Whether it be in a karate school or in your basement or a hotel room. The shorter opponents I fought were always harder to beat than the talll opponents.....
