Does anyone know what happened to that specific forum? I vanished a week to10 days ago. There were a lot of wonderful stories on that site. On a side note, chickfight and other now closed sites have been located via the web archive. Is anyone familiar with how to search that archive to see if any copo pf the board is in there?

The owner of the board had their account hacked and the hacker deleted it. Hostboard is working on bringing it back online, but it's going to be a long process. Some folks are congregating at this one (https://www.hostboard.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1751) for now, and more well known authors like JB57 are putting their archive on their own personal boards until the original is returned.

Human, Thanks for this information. I tried to log onto the site today but my user name is now banned forever. I cannot submit a Help Request because my name is banned. Do you know of an alternative way to contact the administrators? I have been a member since 2020, and never received any type of warning or complaint about the few posts, or messages, I sent. I'd appreciate any information you could provide.

Looks like that's at the hostboard level. Normally I'd suggest reaching out to them, but the guys who own it are terrible at responding to anything. Probably best to create a new account.

I expect Hostboard to disappear soon. So there is no need to create a new community on Hostboard. We should all back up our novels on Google Blogger and gather on the freecatfights forum.
