Hi, this could well be my last post on here, as according to the announcements page, the UK is set to be banned from the site following changes to the UK law. Now as I hail from this totalitarian dump, it looks like I need to pack up my art supplies and move elsewhere. So if you would like to see my future artwork, I have started a DA gallery under the new name of Toothandnailz. I'm still trying to complete the cavewoman fight, but before this site pulls the plug, here is a look at my latest work. It is based heavily on the catfight from the book Slip Gun by J T Edson. It is a slow build up to the actual fight, but that can sometimes be as intense as the actual brawl. Shame they have to exclude the UK from this site, I really like sharing on here. This one is off to a great start! As I've said, Slip Gun is one of my top favorite JT Edson catfights, so I'm glad you're bringing the essence of that excellent catfight to art life. I'm fine with the slow buildup, it establishes background history and the strong dislike both women have for each other. That builds great tension and gives meaning and fuel to their fight. You had that same strong personal connection with the Zora vs Vida gypsy catfight remake. It's missing however in the Cavewoman fight because you chose to go with a generic representation of the era. While the artwork is excellent, that makes Cavewoman less interesting for me. But know I'm excited about Wild West Catfight, because of the storyline and connection to Slip Gun. I'm looking forward to the next update already. If you don't post here, I hope you do post it on DeviantArt (I've seen your new site there) or maybe consider using Patreon. I follow a couple of excellent catfight art and animated catfight artists there. Your work is so good, I'd be happy to pay a modest monthly fee to support your efforts on Patreon.

The underlying theme in that book was about the long history between the two women and how it comes to a fever pitch in the hotel room catfight. I'm sure you'll do that fight a real justice. I can see these two women fighting all around the room with complete abandon, up against the walls, bumping into and falling over furniture, and maybe, unlike in the book, tossing a chair or some other object at each other. Just don't let them pick up that hammer and try to use that, it wouldn't fit with the rough and dirty, but fair, nature of their intense contest.

just read the fight and wow it was a good it Edson fight and from what I've seen of the artwork so far this is really following it well, just adds to the amazing work toothandnail you are a genius

the original slip gun fight was more primal than that the two protagonists hated each other and were always going to fight, jt had them fighting over something simple that escalated. Toothandnail has captured the essence of them so well, these two just have to fight to settle their feud

Fantastic update! If there were such a thing as "catfight art critics" they'd give you a real thumbs up on this project. The right movements, pace, poses, expressions, evenness of the fight, etc. are all captured perfectly. They are careening around the room carelessly, as they should be when oblivious to everything other than what they are trying to do to each other. They're both tough as nails and this is rough and sexy. Great attention to details too, like when and how they manage to scratch each other, and putting the Slip Gun book in pic 80. I agree that pic 77 is awesome, and I also especially like pics 67 and 80. Looking forward to more.

Hi, here is my latest update. Having a blast with this one, it's turning into a real rough fight! I think the wild west just lends itself so well to the catfight fetish. I would love to attempt a vicious down and out brawl in a packed saloon at some point, if I can find the time! There are so many great J T Edson catfights to use for inspiration.

I don't think there are enough superlatives to describe how great this is! I've not seen fierce and sexy female fighting art like this since the days of Eric Stanton. I can only imagine what he could have done with today's technology given his mindset might have been similar to yours.
I believe your art is the way many of us imagine how an epic catfight would go, fierce, untamed, back and forth and sexy as hell. Again, I love that the action is rough and tumble, but you limit the physical damage to minor bleeding, scratches and bruises, because for me it's about creating wild, intense sexual lust. I'm sure you will have their panties coming off as their uncontrolled sexual desires increase from their intense close body fighting. At least that's how I think, and I believe you do too.
Keep them fighting all over the room, crashing into and over furniture, maybe throwing or smashing a chair or two, getting nude and fighting dirty in tight clinches and body locked poses. Whatever you do, it's all great stuff!

Wow, what an amazing compliment. I admire the work of Eric Stanton so much, in fact one of his works, Divorce Disagreement is on my list of planned projects.
I'm really enjoying working on this one, I want to try and stay close to the source material, but this catfight is turning into a free for all, so who knows where it is headed!
I plan to have the two of them crash around the room in a hair tearing, nylon shredding frenzy for a while yet though.
Also, it wouldn't be a true Wild West scrap if someone didn't end up with a chair smashed over them... :)

Well, I still have a copy of Divorce Agreement. I took a quick a look and can see why you like it and how you are influenced by Stanton. The DA fight has the kind of fighting flow, poses, fierce facial expressions, hands to the face mauling, etc. that is prominent in your work. I like the idea of this as one of your future projects.
Yes, all good old-fashioned western brawls seem to include a chair being either thrown at or smashed over someone, which is why I mentioned it. You don't need to do that here necessarily; it's just an idea that I think could fit in somewhere with the type of all-out, smashing around, western brawl these two wildcats are having.
I can see you enjoying this one, it's a really good one and many of us are enjoying it as well.

It is such a shame that modern movies don't depict female fights in that way anymore. The action back then was always back & forth, feminine and frantic. I miss the old western female brawls too. I think one of the best, and one that comes close to your style of action, is Gone With The West. That had everything in it but unfortunately had the women battling 90 percent of the fight in body-concealing nightgowns.

I'm not wanting this to end (like I said, I think your half-way through), but when you get to that point, I think if you honor the spirit of Slip Gun you will need to have the black-haired lady win. Unlike Slip Gun, however, they don't need to become or revert to being friends. Leave them as enemies and maybe they can have a rematch down the road, maybe next time in an out-of-the-way barn or livery stable, and you can combine indoor and outdoor fighting.

Love the continuation with more unrestricted mayhem and furniture crashing. Great sequence fighting over and smashing the small desk (164-170). Perfect timing too for a brief respite to allow them time to catch their breath and put in the short dialogue with both women saying they eagerly want to continue. This is a very effective pause, which nicely allows them to slowly refocus their hate-fueled animosity and resume fighting with an overwhelming desire to destroy each other with intensely personal dirty fighting tactics. The last sequence from 182-189 is totally exhilarating! My favorite pics are 184, 187 and 188.
I hope they continue to fight rough and dirty for a while, mauling and grabbing at every body part, while still wildly careening around the room and maybe turning over and smashing more furniture, although it doesn't look like there's much left to destroy. I love that this fight is dead even and, while an exhausted tie ending with each woman vowing revenge is a viable option, I still lean towards the intent of Slip Gun, where Clara, the mayor, is more of a good girl than the saloon owner Sara and Clara wins.
I love your future idea for a catfight that "crashes from room to room where everything gets overturned or destroyed". That's my kind of catfight and something I'm always hoping to see, but it rarely happens. It doesn't need to be a western, but the fight in Gone With The West may be an inspiration, where they start fighting in a hotel room upstairs, then out onto on the inside balcony and stairway, crashing around the barroom next, then through a window out into the street. Fighting across multiple rooms definitely ups the intensity level and provides more ways to add variety in the action and tactics.
As this catfight starts moving towards more nastiness and dirty tactics, the ladies are now at a turning point and desperate to find a way to win. More tactics on the floor with lots mutual of hairpulling, mauling tits and pussy ripping moves as the final phase(s} of this brutal catfight produces a clear winner. Can;t wait to see what comes next!!

If there's one thing thing I have learnt since deciding to share my artwork, it's that I am terrible at bringing fights to an end. After many late nights, I am almost there with this one. A few times I could have ended it, but the temptation to throw one more punch is too great! I hope this catfight is still enjoyable and not feeling too dragged out. It seems to be a 50/50 split on who people would like to see win! (Do I flip a coin to decide? Stick to the original story it is inspired by? make alternative endings perhaps?) Thanks again for all the messages with fight suggestions, it has given me some great ideas to work with in the future. Congrats on another fine installment to this amazing brawl. I can understand why it can be hard for you to reach an end, especially when you have something this good in the works. As tough, strong-willed, and hate fueled as these two ladies are though, their energy is not limitless. I think you need to rap this up, sadly, in one or two more updates. It's a matter of seeing the point of diminishing returns. If it runs too long, as good as this is, there's a risk of redundancy and diluted interest, both on your part as well as the audience. If it helps, have it end with the idea of a future rematch between them so that it doesn't feel like it's really over. Consider this a great story, one of the very best, and finish it on a high note. As to the ending, I still favor honoring the Slip Gun actual result where the mayor, in this case Clara, wins.
Having finished the last update with the start of the real dirty fighting phase, I wondered how you would do this update. I think you did a great job balancing in the dirty fighting with their other vicious fighting tactics. I love that the room is now in total disarray. I also had a good chuckle too when I saw you finally worked in the smashing chair attack from Sarah. After all, what is a great western brawl without a good chair smashing attack! Some favorite pics from this update are: 190, 211, 214, 217, 218, 244 and 247.
I'm not in favor of the idea for a fight over a man where the man is present. I just don't enjoy fights with a man present or in front of a crowd. I prefer more private affairs. But you should give the people what they want. That said, it just occurred to me that a fight over another woman, with her present, might be interesting. Also, for us older guys, maybe you could make a mature woman catfight scenario. I like the idea of two aging, well-built, and well-known adult models who have performed many scripted catfights, deciding to finally have it out for real to see which of them is really the better woman.

Well, this one's not over yet. It seems their intense hatred and refusal to quit keeps them going longer than the Energizer Bunny. Again, I love the rough and sexy dirty fighting and how you've mixed that in with the overall action. Favorite pics from this update are: 0265 thru 0267, and 0268 thru 0270.
The one slight quibble I have overall is that I wish this brawl had more body punching. Only 3 of the 270 pics to date have body punches - #50 (breast), #71 and #161 (stomach). I would have liked seeing a few more body punches (stomachs, sides, breasts and pussies). Something maybe for your future fights.
You may have picked an ending. I'm still hoping the "good girl" wins, keeping with the integrity of JTE's Slip Gun story and result. The one difference being they do not have to resort to being friends.
The next story I'm really looking forward to is your idea for a multi-room fight where each of the rooms gets totally destroyed in the process. That sounds exciting. Fighting through multiple rooms is a great way to keep a brawl going too because it changes the scenario and adds variety. This is not a drawback or flaw because it's a great work, but one reason for wrapping up Wild West Catfight is just because it's all happening in one room, one scenario. I think that inherently forces a time limitation.

Hi, I've finally completed the Wild West Catfight. Not gonna lie, this has been a tough one to complete! As I've said previously, I find it difficult bringing the fights to a close and this one has been particularly tricky, as I wanted to try and keep the tension, animosity and storytelling going right up until the last frame. I would also just love to keep these two tearing each other apart forever! (Rematch anyone?) I'm amazed at how invested people have become in this catfight, I've had great messages wanting Clara to win and an equal amount wanting Sarah to win! Apologies for not fitting all the desired fighting tactics in here, these two are destined to come to blows again and it will be no holds barred and it will get dirty. This brawl has been 50/50 pretty much all the way and unfortunately one woman has to lose this catfight! (Personally, I felt this outcome suited the story.) Nonetheless, I hope this last instalment hits the target for everyone. Thanks for the support.

Love this scenario if a rematch would happen. Certainly the whole town has heard about this catfight and the reason behind it. They know that Sarah and Clara really hate each other. Sarah is probably bragging about how she destroyed Clara and made her give. Lots of the townsmen wishrhed they were there to witness the catfight. Perhaps a rematch in the downstairs saloon next. You could have Clara walk in and find Sarah flirting with her husband after she had been warned to stay away, After exchanging some nasty remarks, the customers urge them to fight it out in front of them with her husband watching it all. What an absolutely incredible catfight. From start to finish, each frame pictured the true essence of pure realism and brutality. An even catfight two beautiful rivals giving all they got to the end. Did not anticipate Clara submitting to Sarah leg scissors. Had hoped the finishing tactic was via a combination pussy/breast maul or vicious hair pull. But in the end, Sarah won fair and square proving she is the better woman.
As an afterthought, I wonder how Clara is going to explain her battle scars to her husband and why she challenged Sarah to a catfight. Figuring out how to end this amazing fight was no doubt not an easy task. That said, I'm feeling letdown by the ending. After what may have been an hour long brutal, back and forth, all out brawl, ending by a leg-scissors submission felt anti-climactic and not a great fit. Something like the winner throwing a final flurry of punches leaving the loser unable to continue might have been more in keeping with the hateful intensity of this fight and western theme. I also felt they recovered too quickly, realistically, from such a long, grueling battle. I could see a saloon girl and the doctor breaking into the room to work on the fully exhausted and physically damaged duo, with maybe a more subtly implied indication of their rematch. I know it's after the fact thinking and initial reaction. Maybe I'll think differently after I process it more.
I wanted Clara to win because I know the Slip Gun story you based this fight on, but I can also see having Sarah win plays better into their rematch scenario, where I think you would have Clara winning. Still, it's hard to accept changing the basic ending of the original story. But that's just my purest thinking I guess.
Overall though, this was a phenomenal piece of work and arguably the best female brawl artwork story I have come across, maybe even more so than Gypsy Fight Remake, which was also amazing. I think a key reason for this is how well you made use of their trashing the entire room, fighting over and through just about all of the furniture. That really fueled intensity. I've never seen a better room destroying fight. It was so fitting too for a western style brawl.

That's a fair assessment of the ending I guess! I think my aim was trying to balance things so the moves used in the fight didn't become repetitive. Submission moves like scissors hadn't been used up until this point and I figured after such a long gruelling scrap, it would be enough to make one of them quit!
As for a speedy recovery, I didn't really want it to get boring with frame after frame of talking, so I tried to keep it concise. In hindsight, maybe the doc and Sadie bursting in would've added a bit more drama. (Would've also probably made my laptop explode with adding too many characters in the scene!)
As to the winner, that was a tough decision too. I had messages wanting both Sarah and Clara to win. In the end I went with Sarah, only as it served to make Clara even more driven to get her revenge in a rematch.
It's tricky to please everyone. I try to include as much as I can to cover what people want to see, but there are so many different interests in this fetish that it's impossible! I've had people wanting more biting/less biting, more blood/less blood, a draw/no draw, to the death/not to the death! All in all, this was an inspired by piece, not a direct remake of Slip Gun.
You'll be pleased to hear that I actually made two endings, so Clara wins in the alternate one. I want this version to have its day in the sun for a while (as it's my preferred one) and then I will release the alternate ending if people want it, so they can choose their own adventure!

As a suggestion here, perhaps some post catfight damage pics in the future. The ending face off showed vivid face marring, but very little on their breasts and legs. After those brutal attacks, some black and blue skin and scratched up tits would have amplified the feral aspects of the fight. Cheers!

As for a speedy recovery, I didn't really want it to get boring with frame after frame of talking, so I tried to keep it concise. In hindsight, maybe the doc and Sadie bursting in would've added a bit more drama. (Would've also probably made my laptop explode with adding too many characters in the scene!)
As to the winner, that was a tough decision too. I had messages wanting both Sarah and Clara to win. In the end I went with Sarah, only as it served to make Clara even more driven to get her revenge in a rematch.
It's tricky to please everyone. I try to include as much as I can to cover what people want to see, but there are so many different interests in this fetish that it's impossible! I've had people wanting more biting/less biting, more blood/less blood, a draw/no draw, to the death/not to the death! All in all, this was an inspired by piece, not a direct remake of Slip Gun.
You'll be pleased to hear that I actually made two endings, so Clara wins in the alternate one. I want this version to have its day in the sun for a while (as it's my preferred one) and then I will release the alternate ending if people want it, so they can choose their own adventure!
I'm totally fine with constructive criticism, it only drives me to refine my artwork and storytelling! Glad you enjoyed most of it! More art soon. T&N
Firstly, I just want to congratulate you on an incredible piece of work. I think the constant commentary here demonstrates that you've done something truly special. Thank you for the time and effort you've put in. I know I've contacted you privately about how wonderful your work is as well.
I'd also like to say, thank you to maine516 for your excellently crafted constructive criticism. As a creator myself, it's always great to see what others think especially when they offer suggestion like you have here in a respectful manner. Well done.
On my thoughts, I do agree with maine516 that the ending felt a tad underwhelming given the extremely high standard the rest of the fight lived up to. It did feel a little rushed, and given how vicious both were, it did seem a bit odd to just have a submission end it. That being said, I think the eventual winner was perfect in order to move the overall story along if there was an idea for a sequel/rematch.
Certainly, releasing the alternative ending makes a lot of sense here, it would be interesting to compare how the story changes here, even if it's not the "canon" ending. It also gives people the ability to see the result they wanted too. Definitely a great idea to release it when you're comfortable in my opinion.
I will be keeping an eye on your ongoing work, very well done.
Just a follow-up to my last comment. I believe WWC is one of the very best, if not the best, catfight art pieces I've ever seen, and I'm an old dude who has seen a lot of catfight artwork over the years. I think you're a gifted artist for this genre, who really knows how to combine rough and sexy and make it work in a complimentary manner. That's no easy task. My comments on the ending come from my being so invested in this piece (like someone else said, I was checking daily for updates) that I wanted to provide my gut reaction as feedback. It was Monday-morning quarterbacking though, which is a lot easier than you having to wrestle with multiple choices and multiple fan opinions. You can't please everyone. Just view your audience as an advisory board giving you their ideas and wishes that you may, or may not, be able to fit into what you are wanting to achieve with your projects.
I hear you too that you viewed WWC as an inspired piece rather than a remake, which allows you more leeway in choices to make. For me, it was so close to the original story, which is one of my favorite JTE western catfights, that it felt like a remake, which influenced my view on Clara winning. Looking at it as an inspired piece, having Sarah win does seem to play quite well into their rematch scenario.

I think it's fairly easy to be praiseworthy about an artist's work, but difficult to provide any criticism. In the latter case, I agonize over my wording because I don't want to seem too harsh or ungrateful about the artist's efforts or overshadow the really good stuff. Even when I think I may have it right, I still feel uncomfortable. I think this artist "gets it" though, so I feel he deserves some detailed feedback, pro or con, that may be helpful to his creative process.
It's good to hear you are a creator. As a non-creator, I'm only vaguely aware of the software required to do this work, how much time and effort it takes, possible technical frustrations, and potential computer strains, all of which makes me hesitant to be critical. It's good to have your creator perspective.
I'm also glad to hear that you saw what I saw. I'm feeling I'm not crazy, or maybe we both are. I'm fine either way.
I honestly don't understand how toothandnails quality renders are so much better than everybody else's on free catfight haha.

It certainly takes time and effort, I'm only a writer, I have not had the time to dive into 3D art like this sort of thing, but I certainly appreciate the level of detail and love put into this. Toothandnail should be very proud of their achievement. I just very much appreciate people who are considered in their approach to commenting, like you did, and really giving some information back, even if it's not directed at my work.
Oh and by the way, I'll gladly end up crazy if it means I can look through this masterpiece again.
Hey, yx56, just wanted to say I like your choice of SinDD's "MC" pic for your profile. I have that pic too. It would be awesome to see an equally matched, all out four women brawl fully played in an artwork story. There's a couple more pics of these four women SInDD did, but I don't know if it was ever played out as a story unless it was done as a private commission. Too bad as it looked really promising.
