Apologies if this was discussed previously and recently but can anyone offer insights into the payment issues happening with multiple fetish websites? Have more credit card companies have now dropped support for this kind of content?
FoxyCombat has been in limbo for weeks now because of payment system issues, Fetishfights and others were booted from gumroad but haven't yet connected to a new payment option, so there's been no new content for weeks (and no revenue generated for the producers, I assume.) It also looks like Rockin Roxanne recently lost cc and paypal support.
It's already challenging for niche and independent producers to generate fetish content right now, it could become darn near impossible if they're going to start losing the ability to process credit card payments.
Anyone out there know what's going on?
It's all political. I promised to never openly talk politics because it's way to devicive especially at this point in time so I'll just say certain folks have been attacking the adult industry for decades and it looks like slowly but surely things are starting to swing in there favor. ALSO, the Pornhub debacle a few years ago almost single handedly killed the industry or at the least almost put it on life support. They never said you couldn't make it (adult content) so they're trying to make Adult material difficult if not impossible to pay for therefore forcing the industry to eventually have to shut down.
I always preferred to purchase material by using PayPal because I didn't have to give up any personal information. Ever since they moved away from this fetish, I've bought virtually nothing.

If giving up personal info is an issue then stay far away from LoyalFans and sites like that. Since Gumroad went crazy producers are slowly starting to move to that platform which I have been trying HARD to get the word out to them not to do. I've been on a mini crusade to get fans to voice their opinions and convince producers not to go to platforms that force their customers to give up too much of their personal info.
In doing a little bit of online research I see that fetish and porn content is considered high-risk for chargebacks, so I also wonder how much if this is financial vs moral? I went down a bit of a rabbit hole exploring the various factors that impacted processing a few years ago, but not seeing anything recent
Good luck trying to convince people to move away from. LF. C4S is borderline extortion with their 60/40 payout.
My next fight is going LF only with Paypal payments as a backup. I'd have to release my next fight comp in separate fights in C4S later.

I understand why the producers do it and I'm aware of C4S BS as far as how much they take off the top. There's other options other than LF. The problem is on the CUSTOMER side. We're the ones who have to decide whether or not we want to expose all of our personal info just to buy some adult content or are we going to stick with producers who give us less risky payment options. IF it turns out more people want to play on the side of caution you're gonna still come out short because true you see more money from sales but now you have less sales period.
How exactly does LF force buyers to give up more personal info? I'm genuinely curious.

In certain places just to use the site you have to go through a verification process to prove your age and no its not simply punching in a birth date. You basically have to register using your drivers license. So technically it has nothing to do with the credit card services or payment options but it's getting access to the site itself where the issue for some is.

I don't even like registering an account let alone put my driver license info on such sites. I prefer C4S and Gumroad because I could just punch in my card info/email and buy the video right away, no need to register an account you get the download link right away.

EXACTLY!
Again I ask people who have issues with this to speak up before this becomes the new norm. If we are the minority then it is what it is and producers can do whatever you feel is right. I'm just trying to bring to light what could be a major problem for us fans and a problem that could cause producers potential sales. Maybe early release on LoyalFans, make your money, then have a later release on C4S? My point is don't purposely or willfully cut off a portion of your customers.
Didn't know about the ID part. Figured that was just for producers. Thanks for mentioning it.
I'll be offering direct PayPal payments for my next match.
The short strokes are that after the Pornhub debacle, the credit card companies particularly Mastercard have imposed severe restrictions on adult content and particularly fetish content.
They keep imposing more and more restrictions and are acting like a morality police on the type of content which adults can enjoy, which in my opinion no private company should be able to do.
This coupled with lots of countries bringing in online age verification and its a tough time, just try getting a bank account as an adult performer or business in the UK!!
For those of you who don't like providing your ID such as driving licence I'm afraid you are going to be disappointed as this will soon become the norm for all sites, and perhaps even worse if the Republicans win the next election with plans to make illegal/ban vast swathes of pornography, like it or not it is a financial and political attack on the industry.
There is a reason lots of producers are not producing anymore

This sums up the situation perfectly. Again i hate to get political personally , but unfortunately , politics has a lot to do with this situation
I'd be careful about offering PayPal as they will eventually shut down your account AND KEEP ANY BALANCE ON YOUR ACCOUNT. That happened to me about 4 years ago when all of a sudden after being a customer for nearly 20 years my account was shut down claiming I have violated they're adult content policy by offering a download with women in lingerie wrestling without any nudity. Then they froze the couple of thousand dollars I had in my account for six months and then after six months said they were damaged by this and kept my money per their terms of service.
Here is a link to the current policy
https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/what-is-paypal%E2%80%99s-policy-on-transactions-that-involve-sexually-oriented-goods-and-services-help384
So be careful as they will never let you reopen your account.
This is the
only forum I've even heard loyalfans mentioned. They have no brand recognition and block access by location. They are the next gumroad waiting to happen. The payout may be different than other platforms, but C4S has been around for
over twenty years. The number of people who use it must be staggering.
I understand a producer might want to use other platforms in addition to C4S. But I can't understand why any producer - looking to provide their product and expand the visibility of their company - would
deliberately choose not to use C4S. That seems to defy all logic.

Excellent points.
A lot of producers that flocked to Gumroad from C4S are jumping to (or really considering) LoyalFans. I hope they see this thread and REALLY reconsider. I'm not usually very vocal on a thread but this is a topic I feel REALLY needs to be addressed for numerous reasons. Sure it may benefit the producer but do you really want to f**k over a portion of your audience willfully if you don't have to?
Until LoyalFans and similar sites are the only option I implore producers to avoid using them exclusively
Did a bit of bitching at C4S concerning the days long verification process and I finally got them to manually push it through.
Should have both my fights on C4S today or tomorrow.
