Title: She has your number
Post by: Rgh37 on January 11, 2024, 01:17:40 PM
I always wonder what it is like for someone who has lost to an opponent several times and has to face her again.

Examples are Antonia vs Laila at DWW
Eva vs Luzia at DWW
Holly Heart vs Penny Barber at US and Academy

Has anyone experienced this?

Are there any other one-sided rivalries that I am missing?

Petra always dominated Luzia at DWW.

its kind of scary. there's this knot in your stomach and ur thinking 'what if it happens again?' the fear's real. it's not just about the match but facing ur own self doubts. makes u feel kinda jittery.

Been there. And it's even worse if you face them a third time.

I don't think Meisha was afraid of Rhonda.  I think losing to her twice pisses her off but I think she would love another shot, and would win this time.

The obvious one to me is Jess vs Mira. Mira was thoroughly outclassed in their first match. Came back stronger in the second match, but not enough to pull out the win. Then, had the upper hand for most of the third match but lost anyway.

It was a fun feud. Wish it was still going on today and for many years to come. Their second catfight was wonderfully brutal

I was mostly a jobber during my RL pro matches, there were some opponents that I never beat and have faced over 10 times, sometimes losing in one sided squashes.
