I loved her fights. Those from her youth and those later. She also defeated much younger rivals. The only fight I watched when she lost was against Kelli.

Thanks for the post. I have heard a lot about this match-up and the reason that Lady Ellen did not make a strong showing against Kelli -- she was ill. Perhaps. Both women were about the same height and weight which makes for a great fight, IMO. Both were well trained. Would have loved to have seen a more competitive a re-match.

You are exactly correct about her being ill... We were doing a large filming over two days. Ellen had flown in the day before not feeling well and gradually got worse as the day continued. The next morning we knew we were in trouble when Ellen woke up with a low-grade fever and a cough... Kelli was notified and both women decided to go ahead since this was going to be one of the premier matches and we filmed it first before Ellen became congested. They did one mater several months 6after that for a private client.... Ellen was at 100% and although they battled to a tie, I felt that if we had gone the full time limit of other matches Ellen might have pulled out a win

Sounds like the private client got his money's worth. Any chance that he might ever share it with the rest of the world?
Just for the sake of curiosity, where (city, town, country) was the filming done?
They matched in Indianapolis... I have never seen the film released... I think it was about the last match that Kelli did..... sorry I don't have any more information
