I have a cousin that I never got along with. When we were kids we always had silly arguments over everything and absolutely nothing.
In our teens, our fights got physical.
The fights were emotional and brutal. We never did it "for fun".
Over time, it got more and more obvious that we both loved fighting each other and at some point we could be around each other without getting in a fight.
We still hate each other but she lives in another country.
I think having a fights within my own family has shaped my addiction to fighting.
Does anyone else have a similar experience?
Yeah fights in families are there with having sisters we had tense moments for sure but our parents were super strict and if any of us touched the other oh man it was worse then a fight . But in hind sight it made us closer and taught us to tolerate others bs till you just can't . I truly believe it's why when in public and some woman is looking for trouble I can smile and wait for her to touch me then it's on
I have a girl Cousin

But was dominating me everytine she wanted
And i couldnt Tell anyone
Not me but my sister used to scrap with our stepsister all the time, they were a little less than 3 months apart. My dad had his hands full with those 2 lol, I didnt like either of them at the time and tried to not get involved but one of or both of them always had some sort of cut or busted lip and my dad or stepmom were always yelling at them lol
Now of days those 2 are like best friends

This would never fly in 2023, but growing up in the mid-1970s (which might as well have been the Pleistocene Age when it came to parenting) there was a dysfunctional house down the street with a single Mom with her hands full with three attractive girls, all step-sisters with each other.
If they started fighting inside the house, the Mom would break them up, then send them outside to finish on the front lawn, and only the winner could come back in for the next hour or two.
By high school, all three were unbeatable as fighters.
Did the winner make the loser cry? And did the mother and other neighbours enjoy the fights
I had a herd fight with my stepsister when I was 28. Never talked to her since then.
My cousin Gary and I had several fights. First not for fun wrestling was when he was 12 and I was 15 (2.5 years difference).
