Before the internet opened up a world of learning my only experience of women wrestling was provided by VHS tapes from Festelle. One of the more unusual ones was titled The Swiss Tournament. Six ladies, 3 German, 2 English and 1 Swiss as I remember (it was a long time ago). Had gone to a private house in Switzerland to fight each other in a round robin style contest. I had always wanted to see German women wrestle. Ria was German but based in London but wrestled for Festelle. Susanne had a long career wrestling firstly for A S Beka and other producers before eventually running T A C, near Hamburg. Unfortunately her match against Ria, specially interesting because both ladies looked more mature age wise, seems to have disappeared. However here is Ria against Claudia from Koln. The matches were 5 mins or less, woefully short, the 10 minutes tnorm. But it does mean the woman go hard at from the start. Enjoy the sights and also the sounds as German ladies go at it.

Absolutely true. But the blonde continued to try and take the offense until the more skilled brunette put her in a defensive position and had her trying to survive. Would love to have seen all the matches.
A women's wrestling tournament with 8 participants. Claudia has second place.
She even defeated the strong Susan from England. Not such a bad performance as a beginner.
This video shows the battle for first and second place. So it was the final.
And that was Claudia's first defeat at this tournament.
